Finarta was born in 2015 with a vision: to give galleries and art dealers a confidential, secure, and efficient digital tool to expand the reach of their network and increase private sales. Since 2026, we have expanded our highly vetted private network to include the world’s leading private collectors.
Finarta facilitates private sales of Modern and Contemporary art. Interactions are between vetted and anonymous blue chip galleries, art dealers, and from now, top level private collectors. Finarta members remain anonymous until a transaction is settled. In addition, Finarta has a dedicated international sales team who sources works and assists in every step of the sales process on behalf of our members. COA, condition reports, and all of the necessary details are provided to ensure full transparency without sacrificing privacy.
Our platform is secure and one-to-one, meaning the information shared on Finarta is only visible to the members transacting.
We act solely in the best interest of our clients, with complete transparency. We have the experience and expertise in resolving complex issues related to the valuation, authentication, sale, and shipment of artwork.
Co-founder & CEO
Based in Luxembourg, Gauthier de Vanssay is Finarta's Co-founder and CEO. He has over 20 years experience in the art market and has already founded two successful and still thriving companies (one of them was sold to Drouot Auction House).
Head of Sales
Before joining Finarta as Head of Sales, Thomas Dryll was an independent art dealer. Born and raised in Paris, he studied History of Art at La Sorbonne. He served as French representative of Phillips auction house and Contemporary Art Senior Specialist for 2 years. Thomas was Director of Almine Rech Paris gallery during 15 years.
Co-founder, CTO & Product Owner
Arnaud d'Ussel is Finarta's Cofounder, CTO, Product Owner based in Paris, France. He has worked in IT for 21 years, as CTO and Product Owner in C2C & B2B national and International startups. He is also the former CTO of two other companies.
