What is the Finarta Art Club: who it is for, what it costs, how to join
The Finarta Art Club is a private collectors club, founded in Luxembourg in 2015, that gives its members confidential access to a vetted network of 450+ top-tier galleries in 30 countries, to find, buy and sell important artworks off the public market. It is aimed at serious collectors of museum-quality works and at the professionals who advise them, not at the general public.
Who it is for
Collectors buying or selling Modern and Contemporary works typically from €100,000 to several million euros (average transaction about €500,000); sellers who want qualified buyers without a public listing; and collectors who want one-to-one relationships with leading galleries rather than a marketplace interface.
What it costs
Membership is €1,000 for twelve months. Transactions carry a 3% fee on the seller and 3% on the buyer, against the 25–40% buyer’s premium charged at auction.
How to join
Apply on the membership page with your name (a pseudonym is accepted), your collector focus (Modern, Post-War, Contemporary) and estimated collection size. Applications are vetted for seriousness; payment completes the membership. Members stay anonymous in all interactions until a transaction is settled.
The company behind the club, Finarta, has operated in the art market for over 10 years and is led by co-founder and CEO Gauthier de Vanssay, based in Luxembourg, with a team in Paris.
